Stage notes
The 2026 Tour
On Saturday, September 26, the peloton rolls out around noon for roughly 50 kilometres of bikes, pizza and questionable judging decisions.
We preorder a few pizzas at each stop. Depending on the restaurant, we either sit down or take the pizza somewhere nearby. Everyone scores the slice, and at the end of the day we crown the Tour De Slice champion.
Eat one slice
One slice per stop. Maybe two if leftovers threaten the integrity of the event.
Judge mercilessly
Every slice gets judged. The winning restaurant earns the right to return for next year's Tour.
Come and go
Ride the whole route or join for part of it. If somebody flats, we stop and help.

How it works
A very serious tour
with very unserious rules.
Tour De Slice is a Calgary pizza tour on bicycles. We ride from pizza shop to pizza shop, share a slice at each stop, score the contenders, and finish by naming the year's champion.
The route changes every year. The one tradition: the previous champion gets invited back to defend the title.
Rider notes
What to know
Bring
A bike, a lock, and whatever you normally carry for a casual 50 km ride.
Cost
Registration is free. Riders cover their share of the pizza.
Weather
Light weather won't necessarily stop us. Heavy rain may. Updates will be posted before the ride.
Mechanicals
If somebody gets a flat, we stop and help. Nobody is expected to fend for themselves.
